wrong time of the year for pinch I guess?

Erics garage felt like a steam room. Almost funny how bad it was for pinch there.

I went out in the garage and turned on the air conditioning about 3 hours ahead of time and conditions seemed pretty good for the pinch here. It seemed to pull out the humidity as much as lowering the temperature and I thought it felt pretty solid.

It didn't seem too humid at my place, but the plates did feel slippery, so it may have been more humid than I realized.

I know that Saturday was just not my day. Felt kind of sick, my lower back had a bad cramp, my thumb had a bad cramp. It just wasn't my day.

I am shocked that I made 6th place. This was the worst I did since GGC 2006 when my left arm was all but useless due to epicondylitis in my extensor tendon.

Bad days happen though. Gotta be ready for them. That is why it is important to train sometimes when you are having a bad day, because it gets you more prepared for contests. Full steam ahead for Nationals and the next leg of the Series.

It was also very humid in Tucson. We are in the middle of monsoon season where it rains nearly every day and the place where the contest was held has swamp cooling only ( a type of evaporative cooling which is used in the Desert ). Swamp cooling when it is humid outside doesn't drop the temp much and raises the humidity to near saturation levels. So yeah ours was slick too.

It was raining where we were and so inside could have felt drier. That didn't stop Loz pulling more than the WR on the 2HP but it did stop me :blush
