Wes
Well fellas it's been a while. Finished my AA degree and the law enforcement academy but as it turns out I think my calling lies elsewhere. After I finish this fall semester I'll be joining the Navy. Been trying to do more "athletic" style workouts, not much weightlifting. Lots of running, swimming, pullups, pushups that kind of stuff. My goals before I finish the semester are 80 Pushups in 2 min 80 Situps in 2 min 1.5 mile run in less than 10:00 500 yard swim in less than 10:00 15 pullups 25 ring dips Did a light workou today, some ring dips and pullups mainly. Bodyweight is hanging around 230 at the moment- Did a couple sets of 15 on the ring dips and here is my finishing set of 15 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xdvvcG40dg Edited July 23, 2010 by Wes

lifesnotfair
Nice to see you back Wes! Are you still going to train grip?
Wes
Appreciate it John and Arturo. I doubt I'll train grip seriously any more but who knows what could happen. I've done everything I ever wanted to with the exception of the Inch which I never had a chance to try strong. Might do Rolling Thunder again, be nice to hit 300 one of these days. Trail run today, 4.2 miles of 96 degree up and down sugar sand hell. Managed to keep a good clip and not walk despite the crazy elevation changes. Wes
Also for yesterday, fell asleep before I could add Ring pullups RP'd to 25. Same method as below Pushups rest paused to 100. Basically do 60 or so, rest 30 secs, do 15 more, rest 30 until 100 is reached. Sore as shit today. Probably change this workout to do dips in the morning and pushups and pullups in the evening. 100 for the pushups, 50 for dips and 25 for pullups. Staying with the same number until I'm happy with what I can do in the first set. Do this every other day and do abs on off days. Prolly situps and leg raises on rings, same method.
