sherman Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 hello there i have been tinkering around with a 25lb hex DB i have at first i would grip one end and hold it in a dead hang but then i realized doing a twist of the wrist going from a hang to an upright but i am unable to get it up all the way (easy with a 15lb)then i realized it is almost like a compound grip exercise seeing that you're having to grip the hex then twist and raise the other end with weight and all to an upright. so you got a squeez and a short lever lift in one working fingers and wrist and of course forearms, if any one has heard or done this let me know thanks.
