As far as I know him and Teemu are the only people to ever do that.

I think Gabriel has the best shot at being first for the CCS4 cert.

Yeah, Teemu did this one nearly 3 years ago! :

He does say it was an "easy #3.5" though! ;)

Glad someone else keeps tabs! ;)

I thought you were a grip aficionado Danny?! ;):laugh

Yeh I remember seeing that video a while back, but I didn't think it was fully closed on that video.

Gabriel's close was very clear and you can see that gripper got a crazy spread on it also - I bet it ranks close to 180 lbs on the RGC.

Need to ask Gabriel about that.

Danny I can assure you it was fully closed. But my close is nowhere near as good as Gabriel's! My #3.5 was and is an easy one. I haven't been training grippers that seriously for a while now, but I can still no set that #3.5 almost any day.

Quite impressive, I just wasn't sure if it was fully closed but camera's are deceiving, no doubt that it was closed based on your statement.

You are definitely one of the top grip guys out there - have you had a chance to practice the CCS on a hard #3.5 ?

Would everyone agree that this close by Gabriel is the hardest gripper to ever be closed using a No Set ?

It's up there, but I'm not sure it's useful to use absolutes like "hardest" with grippers.

Tommy has that BBSE no set out there, and the specs on that gripper are unclear. Gabriel has no set harder narrow grippers, I believe. We all know the challenges of comparing grippers.

Is there video of that BBSE no set?

That was tremendous.I hope Mr Sum realizes strength doesn't last forever , injuries occur, life can change in an instant....so, A certified close of the #4 or the ultimate a no set close of a #4 under cert conditions would rank at the very top of the Mt. Everest of grip. I would love to see him successful in this task. Best of luck...do it!Richard Sorin
