Rick Walker
Go fairly close, no belt, knee sleeves ok. Work up to a fairly heavy single for you. Then drop down to about 65% of that single and do a 20 rep set. Drop to 55% of the single and do 10 reps. Drop to 45% and do 10. Drop to 35% or so and do 10. And finally to about 25% and do 20 again. Rest only about 2 minutes max between sets. Finish with super slow hack squats (5 count eccentrics), 3 sets of 8 and 5 sets of 20 leg extensions. Felt like mixing it up a little bit. Between the heat and the leg work I left the gym decimated, broken, and sick. I felt like I had the Prowler flu x 10. And now I am going to go out and push the prowler... Sometimes you need to shock the body like that. Maybe next time I will try 20s on all the sets, or even a set of 100 with 185...

Bill Piche
Geez Rick, can you walk after this the next few days!?
Rick Walker
My legs are pretty sore today, but I think pushing the prowler helped keep them from being too bad. I am going to do 30 minutes of intervals on my bike today, should help them recover.
