John Beatty
I was finishing up a gripper order a few minutes ago, and noticed my old IM #2, my very first gripper, was getting a bit of surface rust. WD'd it off & gave it a squeeze. Noticed that it wasn't just my grippers that were a little rough early on. One handle has a big wad of glue/epoxy on top, and an obvious bubble pop in it. Also when closed, the handles are a good 1/8" plus from matching up when closed. Kinda made me laugh, thinking of my first few, and didn't check the grippers to see if the handles were even when I glued them & didn't cut a slot for the glue to settle in neatly. I've had this gripper for an easy 17-18 years. Maybe in another 15 years I'll be selling as many as Randy. And maybe guys will still be playing with the FBBC grippers they bought almost 20 years ago. climber511
In 20 years it better be a very easy gripper Either that or I'll be closing the #3 for God - which brings us to the question - can God make a gripper so big he cannot close it? Guest Bullitt
In 20 years it better be a very easy gripper Either that or I'll be closing the #3 for God - which brings us to the question - can God make a gripper so big he cannot close it? I believe that depends on whether a gorilla has seasoned it for him. Of course, the question of what size are God's hands would have to come into play. And then there's the question of will anyone answer his post about a beginner training program that will get him closing the #3. So no, but with conditions. You'll probably still be running Gripmas. And climbing slightly smaller rocks.
