Mun
Maybe you need to take some time off if your training your training with grippers 4-5 times a week, also what i like to do after every grip workout are contrast baths, soaking the hands in alternating buckets of hot and cold water, i like to start with hot and finish with cold, for a minute to a minute and a half in each one for three cycles) Hope this helps. Malice
Just like working the rest of the body your hands should be sore for a day or two after a good workout so rest is a requirement. Experiment to figure out how many days you need between workouts. When I was doing only grippers I found I could work 2 days in a row before needing a day off and it worked great. Now that I've added pinch and fat bar I need at least one day of rest and sometimes two days depending on how intense the workout was. Contrast baths also help recovery a lot. Autolupus
Soreness is not necessarily a good indicator of a productive workout.
