My FBBC 2x and 3x just showed up while I was at work tonight. I got home and did a warmup with the trainer and #1 and gave them a shot. First off, they are bad azz looking!! I really like the look and (surprisingly) feel of the smooth steel handles. They have a helaciously wide set compared to my CoC's and BB's which really threw me off setting the 3x initially but I think will help train my set in the long run.

The 2x closed about as easy as my #1 but seemed to be much smoother through the whole sweep. The 3x I couldn't even get close to closing without chalk but with chalk I could get to probably about a mm or so both hands. Again super smooth all the way. I really like these grippers and plan on getting the other 3 to complete the set. I'm going to have to get the 2x close on video and hopefully this week close the 3x on vid too and send them in for cert.

I was looking for a good gripper between the 2 and 2.5 and the 3x fits the bill perfectly for this. I highly recommend these :mosher

These grippers have an industrial look to them that will work perfectly with a new gripper display I've been thinking about. Time to hit Home Depot tomorrow and pick up some supplies :devil

3rd set oif tonights gripper workout and I closed the 3x!!! It barely closed but still closed none the less. I guess it's time to see if I can get a 3x with 5/8" handles made.

I have a brass 4x with 5/8 handles. Wonderful gripper.

Hmmmmmm...maybe I'll get the 5/8" handled grippers in brass to add contrast to the FBBC old skool display

Are your 5/8" handles knurled?

Not knurled.

I also have a steel 4x with the spring set extra deep. Ha, also have a P1 steel as the MI grip trophy. I'll post a few pictures here soon.

In the past, I posted that my 4x 5/8 had some sloppy glue work. I didn't care then and still don't. For my contest though, all grippers were beautiful. Really, tied or better than RB for nicest looking grippers. I don't care about looks, but some people do. For the contest I had x-5x, P1, P1+P2 hex. They looked so good I made some of them trophies.

As soon as the special edition RB's that I ordered show up I'll order a 3x 5/8". I'm still deciding on brass or steel handles. I want to order them now but I have a thing about buying something before getting my previous order is delivered :whistel It also gives me more time to decide on handle material hahaha

I have a smooth FBBC 3X that is about the same as my CoC #2.5 but I'd rate it as a more difficult close because of the smooth handles. It's one of my favorite grippers.

I must have either a real easy 3x or a real hard 2.5 cuz my 3x is noticably easier than my 2.5. I'm hoping I just have a hard 2.5 but won't know until I build my RGC. I'll have to build one this week now I guess cuz now I'm real curious about these 2 grippers.
