2strong
Hello ! I'm a guy from Norway, and just wanted to say hello. I started training my grip 2 weeks ago ( after my CoC grippers arrived from Ironmind... ) When the grippers arrived ( #T #1 #2 ),LOL I was so exited that I tried to close them in my car ( after picking them up from the post office ). I managed to close the #T and the #1, but was about 5mm from closing the #2. Now two weeks later, I was able to close the #2 today... The #3 #4 gripper arrived yesterday, and I have to say that the #3 will be a tough one ( the #4 I got, just to see how hard it was. And my only comment is... HOLY COW !!! ). The reason for starting training my grip, is that I thought my grip strength was lagging behind the rest of my body ( I'm using / used to rely to much on the straps when training ). I have trained with weights for 10 years, and have won the Norwegian bench press championship 3 times... my personal best is 420 pounds raw, at a bodyweight of 198 pounds. I just want to say that this is a really nice board, with lots of training knowledge ( and strong people ! ) Ok... that's all about me PS. And sorry about the bad English. The Mac
2strong, Do you have a name? It's always nice to put names to 3x Norwegian Bench Press Champions. Regards
Jonathan McMillan
Nice going with the grippers!! I've been training well over a month with them and have yet to close the #2 BTW you haven't seen bad english yet unless you've seen some of my postings during night shifts Jon@han

EricMilfeld
2strong, It's always nice to hear from a new member. You're making remarkable progress with your grippers, and needless to say your bench is quite impressive! What are your grip goals?

Sybersnott
2strong, You remind me of myself. I fell along the same lines when I first tried the grippers. However, your benching knowledge goes far beyond mine! That is remarkable... I'm currently working on my BP too, but I still have a ways to go; my goal is to BP 500#. You have found a great place here, since this is THE site for grip training and grip strength. I would not be surprised if it takes you less than a year before you're closing that #3! 2strong
You have found a great place here, since this is THE site for grip training and grip strength.I think this site is a gold mine regarding grip training ( I'm in the process of looking at every page posted, and have come to page 80 ).I have neglected grip training completely, and It's a shame that I didn't start training my grip from the beginning... I would not be surprised if it takes you less than a year before you're closing that #3! I don't know about that one ( I think the #3 feels like a monster ). I have trained with weights for 10 years, and I think that's the reason I was able to close the #2 so "soon". The #3 is on a other level, and I have to train like a "madman" to get to that level ( it certainly feels like that at the moment ). But I will give it my best, and see how fare that will take me.
