Tried The Two Inch Replicas Today

David Horne

Recommended Posts

I tried the two Inch replicas today, and lifted both of them together to a height of about 10", maybe a little more. It's ok Bill you can lock this post if you want, as I'll be sending you the photo later when we get the cable for the computer. I'll definitely deadlift to full lockout both in the next couple of months. After this I high pulled the Inch 5 or 6 times in my right hand. I even had a go at the Inch and blob together and got both off the floor by about 3 or so inches, but no photo as Elizabeth had gone back into the kitchen to finish making the mince pies. Good girl! These were witnessed by Jim Wylie, Richard Scott, Elizabeth and Jason. We then did our training program.

Photo will be sent this evening.

David-

A great display showing strength of both hands!

This picture shows that the area of our grip world is greater than before. Great lift!

David,

Was it grip or the stiff leged deadlift that was more of a problem ? I have wondered about that before. Since the handels are so close to the ground you would have quite a bit farther pull than what you would be use to doing with a bar.

Harlan,

I used to be fine at pulling deadlifts, but quite a bad injury (non training related) to my back 3 years ago has caused me big problems since. In fact the weight of the two dumbells (156k) is not far off my best deadlift now! So maybe it is a bit of a problem, because I can't rip the weight up as quick as what I could have done at one time.

David,

Just a few more inches and you would have been past

the 'sticking point' and would been standing looking

straight into the lens; excellent attempt, and, it is truly

only a matter of days until you will send us a photo of the

completed lift.

Congratulations!
