wlong132003
Good find will be good for sledge hammer hits. Probably to light for flipping though depends on what ply it is.

The Hack
I hope that you were cleaning those woods when you find this tire.) If you don't have problems with tendonitis, you could try throwing this tire.Or with two hand or with one.Or just hold it and swing around you're self(elbows must be litlle bent).... But this one is maybe too heavy,I can't estimate very good.. throwing you should do with lighter tires. There is in my town one man about 50 years old, who collect charity on Holy Mass, known by his strength(bw 220pounds).About month a go, i heard that he could throw truck tire over truck with one hand. Lol999
Cool find. Only last night I was negotiating a heavier tyre/wheel combo off my neighbour who manages a tyre fitting shop. One thing he did say was that you can get innertubes that can be filled with air and or water so you can fit one of these to the tyre, fill with water, and you got a very heavy compact tyre. Another option is to fit it to an old lorry/tractor wheel. If that isn't heavy enough you can bolt weights to the wheel itself. It's all do-able

This tire is way to big to throw, the pic does not do it justice,It is approx 5 1/2 foot tall.It has got to weigh near 300 lbs. If you can throw it you must be a giant. Cannon
Check it out. http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?autocom...si&img=8905 Jealous of a few things here: 1) Sweet tire. 2) You live near woods and a stream. 3) You have access to an excavator. 4) You get to use the excavator. Great find!
The Hack
In that case , you can try to drag it or flip it with one hand if with two is too easy, better then fill it with weights.
