York Globe Dumbells

not sure if this is the right section to ask, but is there any value/use to the old york globe dumbells. I ask because I know the old york dumbells are used as blobs, but what about the globe dumbells, are they used for anything/valuable? Lets say 95 pounders if that matters

An old globe style dumbell with the globes cut off is called a "glob" hard to find and harder to lift. Im pretty sure Jedd is good at lifting them (big surprize). I would never cut up a cool dumbell like that though

i think they are worth more to collectors as they are hard to find. i wouldnt cut it up, you can use shot puts instead of globs, and also the 95lber would probably be too hard to lift, didnt jedd have a 60 or 65

I think the one Jedd had at last GGC was a 1/2 65. is was freaking huge and I don't think too many of us picked it. you can do the hot potato thing that brookfield and adam glass talk about with them. at that size I'm not sure how much you can do with them.
