Zaqwer
I found this new toy at a store in town, a digital grip tester with an inbuilt voice that reads the numbers for you! Only about $13 so i couldn't resist. Here is a picture of it: http://www.jula.se/EsaImages/item/master/950120_d.jpg Wasn't exactly like crushing a gripper, really hard to get a good set since its plastic and all. Nothing for you gripmasters though since it can't measure more then 51,5kg The interesting thing however was that i almost squeezed the same amount with both right(49kg) and left(48kg). This didn't make any sense to me since my right is way stronger on grippers. Im basicly maxing the same amount of reps on #2 with right as i do with #1,5 on left. Any ideas how this could be? Bad grip tester? My technique on grippers with left hand sucks? This could probably be answered by a video but i don't have a working camera right now. Or can the reason be something else? Jeff Parker
I had a cheap grip tester similar to what you have. It did not work good for people that could close anything above a coc#1. It was great fun for family get togethers though as evryone else had fun contests. With mine, if you could squeeze beyond the level at which it could record, it would show a number near the max level but different most times. Try squeezing some more and see how the numbers change. My guess is your just squeezing beyond the range so it will not be accurate for you.

Maybe you are right, but i don't think im above the max level though. Been using it some more and got 51kg as most. Did some attempts with 2 hands to see where it stopped. When the handle was in the bottom it showed 52,5kg every time. It is counting every 0,5kg from 4kg-52,5kg with a clicking sound every level it changes. Seems pretty accurate at the low levels at least, i hanged on 10kg in plates and it got the number correct.
Ben10
i used one of these in PE and got 58kg out of it but i think it was a fairly expensive one. i think the highest someone got on it was 64kg which i thought was a bit poor seeing as they were twice the size of me
