liam.mccaffrey
I reached a milestone today equaling my best bend from before the cancer, operation, chemo and stem cell transplant hell. Hard bastard in under 5 min. I willing to bet i am the only person to ever bend a bastard after a stem cell tranplant. I am 6 months out from it, some people havn't even returned to work by now. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to continue, this little niche sport has really helped me through hard times and helped me to feel tough again. I am back to at least where i was before and that is a big pshycological hump to get over. I'm not a patient any more. I didn't video it because it was in bigger wraps than i'd like. coming soon though Edited May 23, 2009 by liamcafs

Sher
Awesome, Liam. Nothing like getting back that feeling after something so 'life up-ending' like that. I'm sure Laura's relieved that you're feeling your old self again too. I would have to agree there are not many who could lay claims to such a feat you are of a special bread and should hold your head high and be very proud of that.
