hamil1km
They're identical to beef builders with the exception of what's stamped on the handle. Gotcha. I see that now that they have the same exact lb ratings as the beefbuilders. What's the purpose of selling them under two different branding schemes? I think Weightlifters Warehouse sells the beef builder name, and nutritiongeeks.com sells the T name. Maybe nutriongeeks.com requested them that way? Not sure. JAU1985
I wanted to get some of the Tetting grippers from Nutrition Geeks but they don't ship to Canada I'd want about 3 grippers that fall between CoC #2 and #3, does anyone know if these exist in the Beef Builder line? They're all identical. Just go by the pounds instead of the name. T4-T6 (M, SM, and GM) should do the trick with the GM being right at the average #3. Cannon
According to the respective websites the mounts are technically different. Weightlifter's Warehouse lists it at 1/16" and Nutrition Geeks lists 3/32". I am skeptical, however, that they are actually different. I'm in Canada, too, and the best thing is to buy one used off someone on the gripboard. I've got a narrow BBSM, a wide BBSM, standard BBGM and a narrow BBE, all off guys here. Excellent grippers, all of them. edit: forgot to say, the narrow BBSM is between my #2 and 2.5, the wide BBSM and BBGM are just below the #3, and the narrow BBE is just above the #3. A standard BBSM should be between a 2.5 and 3. Edited May 14, 2009 by bdckr Quote #3 MMS

I plan on getting the CoC 2.5 and 3 soon to work with in my training. I plan to use them for strengthening the sweep of my closes so I can kill the #2 and move up. I'll make a post in the Wanted section of the board soon. I also plan to get a FBBC 1" diameter handled gripper around the 2.5 range once John starts taking orders for them. Hello: Yes, Nutrition Geeks will not ship outside of the United States. I suggest you order from Weightlifter's Warehouse. Whatever you do though, don't ask Bill about how the grippers compare to the CoC's, he hates hearing about other grippers or having the BeefBuilders being compared to others - either strength or quality. If you want 3 grippers that fall between the #2 and #3, I would suggest the Master, Super Master, and Grand Master. The Master is just above a #2. The Super Master is just above a #2.5. The Grand Master is just below a #3. Skip the Master, if you don't need a gripper at the range of 2.1-2.2. The Elite is harder than the #3. I suggest you purchase the regular M, SM, and GM that Weightlifters Warehouse carries, whereas if you wanted anything different - handle diameter, narrow handles, different knurling, or higher spring mount position - it would cost you a fortune (about $55-$60 each). Yeah, my T7 and T9 both actually have a slightly deeper mount than my SE. That's weird, considering WW advertised as the mount being closer than Nutrition Geeks. WW = 2/32" NG = 3/32" So if anything, the BB grippers should be slightly harder than the T-Series grippers. The closer the mount, the harder the gripper. Guest Bullitt
Just got my first BB today. The Elite. Love it. It seems much smoother than my COCs. The mount was 1/16" as advertised. The knurling is sick. Much sharper than the COCs or HGs I have. Edited May 16, 2009 by Bullitt

What's advertised apparently isn't always the case. My T7 is flush-mount, while my WW SE and T9 are both 1/16 (thought the T9 was a touch deeper, but they're both the same). Really, though, I don't think minor differences in mounts make a difference on separate grippers. Springs vary so much, it can more than make up for a mount difference in one direction or the other. If he has a way to take credit card info over the phone or would he re-direct you to Bill? I was thinking of possibly having him make me a narrow gripper w/ a higher mount and perhaps slightly smoother knurling. Anyone have any idea, how much difference in strength the narrow makes as opposed to the regular? and what the difference in strength on higher mounts would be. I ordered from Bill Enis at Weightlifter's Warehouse. Awesome speed. I ordered on Thursday afternoon and they were delivered priority mail on Saturday morning. That was from California all the way to Maryland! They have the option on their website for getting modified grippers, but the price is $53. Guest Bullitt
I paid $19.99 and the shipping was very innexpensive. I was nothing but pleased. $53 sounds like a lot, but as always, custom costs more. Standard grippers are the same price as COCs.
