JAU1985
Would one consider phonebook tearing a grip feat? Today I tore my first phonebook (only 160 individual pages) and a Canadian "Home hardware" glossy 360 page Catalogue (really only 170 individual pages, like the phonebook was only 160). After I learned the proper pinch and grip technique those two books were peanuts for me though I originally thought that after seeing a video on youtube that I still wouldn't be able to do it, I was so wrong... and the glossy paper/pages were a wee bit tougher than the phone book. Tomorrow I am going to go around town and look for more phonebooks, larger ones of course and big free sears or JC Penny catalogues to practice on, as many as I can possibly find. I think they give out free phonebooks at a few of the local stores here and the telephone company bill payment place. I think I'll raid all three. EDIT: I'm an idiot, after posting this I read Paul Knight's thread on "Grip N' Rip" Edited May 7, 2009 by JAU1985
Guest Bullitt
Not an idiot. Everybody gets so excited when they rip their first phone book. I got so addicted ripping them that I injured my left hand and couldn't grip for a month. I must have ripped 30 or 40 those first couple weeks.
