New Bender

So i took some advice that I've read on here and went to home depot and bought like 8 pieces of round and square stock and 1 piece of brass all3/16 a few boxes of nails to start bending on started the round out at 7 inches killed it easy this is with a shop rag and bandana until i get to micheals.dropped it 6 to 6 inches killed it easy then to five inches which was just a tad harder so I think I'll try the square on wed to see how i fare on it and i think I will save the rounds for hitting double unders so I mean nothing to huge in comparrison to most here but I was proud of myself !!HAHAHA

Thanks guys!! So I couldn't help but have at the square stock last night despite what I said about waiting !I cut it to 6.5 and was surprised that the square stock was much stiffer I still did it in under 2 minutes but it was a good bit harder than the round. My main concern is that I REALLY need to go buy the leather pads the steel keeps sliiping sideways on my crush causing my wrist to snap forward really painfully. So I hit a few pieces of the square and then I've had this piece of round 1/4 by 6.5 that I've tried to bend before but to no avail! 2 times I've tried and finally hit last night I was super stoked about it so I hung it up on my wall!!haha I found it in my kids back pack last year and thought I'll bend that bad bastard no idea what it went to or where he got it from it was nice and shiny it did have a little kink in it from the previous 2 bends but nothing really significant took me about 3-4 minutes to hit it so yeah I was proud of myself although my hands and elbows feal it today!!!Thats the price you pay I guess!!
