dunebuggy31 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) was working with my 65lb half block, thought this might work, and it works pretty well. - Take two of those velcro ankle/wrist belt thingies (http://www.amazon.com/Bally-Ankle-Wrist-Weight-Nylon/dp/B000H406NK) - strap the velcro ends to make a circle - adjust the diameter of the circle so it plops down onto the block but it doesn't slip down.....it sits there real securely - slip your hand through and lift away (you're obviously limited by the max weight of the two belts combined, but the pair i found can add a range of 1lb - 10lb to the block) Edited April 10, 2009 by dunebuggy31 Quote It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
Steve B. Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 The magnetic weights "Plate Mates"work well also. I have 4-1 1/4 lb and 4-5/8lb weights that i use to up the poundage on my blocks. Also a thin piece of rope will work with small plates tied at each end. Quote
