Dynamometer Vs Gripper

hi friends,

anybody has an idea, how is the relation between a dynamometer (used by prof. desbonnet) and a modern (coc)-gripper?

the old dynamometer was used by two hands (louis uni made about 150 kg). but i think, "apollon" was strong enough to close a coc4.

I have no idea Walter that would have to be tested scientifically.

Is there still a working Regnier dynamometer left ?

And by the way I agree about Apollon, 150kg in the "position reglementaire" is insane enough

to do a good damage to the #4

yes, volko krull, this was my question.

i would like to "translate" the "desbonnet-dynamometer-results" of the old strength-heros to a "coc-scale".

david horne shows these old dynamometer-records on his website.

Maybe David Horne is in possesion of an old dynamometer ?

With a lot of luck he may could get it calibrated and calibrate a CoC with the same calibration device.

Then we would be able to start calculating :cool:rock

i remember Temmu saying he was not super strong when he tried the dynamometer , and he 's 1 mm from the #4:-)
