Gripmasters Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 We Gripmasters.. you probably know us from Youtube, have a new trainingmate. I would like to know how you guys think about him.. Is it above human what he did?? I think it is!! He never ever touched any gripper or did any gripwork! I guarantee that. he never trained with straps so guess that is the clue.. I gave him my old hard #2, SMASH closed!! He was not familar with any technique so it was almost a no set close!! I was absolutely astonished!! than I gave him my RB 210, I can't close this gripper but I can close my coc 2.5! So I don't know how hard this 210 is.. He didn't close it, the first try, but next day he closed it with his right!!! I am absolutely amazed!! What do you guys think about it. Are there stories that other people did this.. Yes I know ofcourse there are stories that people close the #3 first try but I DON'T BELIEVE THESE STORIES. Ofcourse it could be possible but they did already other gripwork.. like pinching plates or something... Quote
Cannon Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 We Gripmasters.. you probably know us from Youtube, have a new trainingmate. I would like to know how you guys think about him.. Nope Who are you on Youtube? He didn't close it, the first try, but next day he closed it with his right!!! I am absolutely amazed!! What do you guys think about it. Are there stories that other people did this.. Yes I know ofcourse there are stories that people close the #3 first try but I DON'T BELIEVE THESE STORIES. Ofcourse it could be possible but they did already other gripwork.. like pinching plates or something... Why not? If your buddy closed a gripper harder than your 2.5, it could very well be as hard as many #3s out there. #3s fall in a huge range of difficulty. Your basically telling one of "these stories." It's a great start, though, and certianly better than most. I would guess he either grew up on a farm, or has a labor intensive job, or both. Quote
Gripmasters Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 We have an account on youtube, Gripmasters, and some videos, And this account we also use both my trainingmate and me. Here is our latest video: Quote

Gripmasters Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 No not the "powerlifting" mate from youtube, This beast is 2 meters tall/6,6 feet and weights 140 kg / 309 lbs he never ever touched grippers before, just used weights for training. I will capture him on video soon, I wonder how his first time rolling thunder and pinch power would be... Quote

Rather you believe it or not my youngest son, Cody shut a #2, TNS - First time Closed 3 different chockered #3's - no training MM close #3 and Narrow Spread Elite - no training RP close TUG #6 - First time #225 2" V-Bar - First time #300 one hand Dinnie Ring - First time #300+ 2" Axle - First time DO Bend 60D, 6" x 1/4" G5 - First try Lifted Legacy Blob - no training These are very impressive feats with no training and first time. People at the gym where he trains says his grip is inhuman, but it's not. Well above normal/average. Cody weighs less than 180 lbs. Even if he wasn't my son, I would say these feats are very impressive. There's numerous people on this board that can testify to what I'm telling you.
