ewokhugo Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) its possible to have one idea about the 2008 and 2009 stock from Fbbc? i tried a couple of bastard from the last year and all were hard ... probably around 500 or so. the golden bastard from the last batch its easier than the bastard. the shiny looks very CLOSE to the bastard ...(kink) thanks in advance Edited April 7, 2009 by ewokhugo Quote Hugo Sá e Castro 33, 6"0", 200 lbs.
CaptainCrush Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) you'll have to buy the stock and ship it to one of the few guys who have calibrating devices. I wouldn't mind getting a calibrating device set up that would let me do it and give Eric a break. Edited April 7, 2009 by CaptainCrush Quote
ewokhugo Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 GREAT idea Chad!!! Quote Hugo Sá e Castro 33, 6"0", 200 lbs.
lone Wolf Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 If you go to Eric's gallery he's got some pictures of his calibrating device he lifted his manually . I made one following his directions I used a half ton chain hoist for mine though if you look in my gallery I got a picture of mine it's not a very good picture but I'll take a few more if you like. Darko Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I have been wondering the same actually, about the calibration on 08/09-Bastards. Quote GOALS: Bend IM Red. ewokhugo Posted April 8, 2009 Author Posted April 8, 2009 Darko, I didnt like the bastards in the beggining(i got stucked in the kink for 2 minutes first time) later i tried to use all my body to bring the bar down and it helped a lot! now i bend one hard bastard to 90 deg with 2 hits, wich is very good (for me!lol) Quote Hugo Sá e Castro 33, 6"0", 200 lbs.
John Beatty Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 The last batch I got was in a load last week. They are darker than the last few batches. Haven't bent one yet, but I bend so infrequently I'm not a good measurer. Quote I like heavy things.
