ewokhugo Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 today my training was as usual by "feel" ... my goal was to bend the big bastard(using one average bastard from Mike) wich i did but unfortunally got stucked at the crushdown to long to finish it under 5 mn.(got the bar to 4" in 30 seconds or less). tried by the 2 nd time ever IM wraps (first training did 5.5" g5) .... my national CRS looks easier than the red nail specialy in the end. failed the cert but my plan its to train my CRUSHDOWN something i should have done earlier ...:-) video uploading Quote Hugo Sá e Castro 33, 6"0", 200 lbs.

matthcarl Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Nice IM pad bending! It sure did look easy for you once you got it kinked Quote Name: Matt Carl Runner, Graphomaniac, Steel Bending Fiend
cberg Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 nice job Hugo IMP bending is tough but you made it look easy. For training your crush, I would use one of those shiny bastards you have stuck on the crush and give it a few hits at the beginning of each workout (when you are fresh). Cheat kink a couple if you have to. Once you can get the stainless under 2'' the big bastard will be a piece of cake Quote Caolan Berg age: 21 height: 5'8 weight: 200

ewokhugo Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 Luuc: i maynot have the patience to do it because a couple of years are necessary (i was kidding) but i know u wants to do it !!! u would be known for the "kid of steel" !!! ...just wondering if Ironmind allows it?? gumpster Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Great bend in IM wraps! I agree, you need some stainless (5/16" or 8mm) to work your crush. I used your 7mm SS and it worked for me...huge improvement in my crush just from a month of work. Quote Name: Perry6'4", 170lbsGoals:MMS close #3 - 11May2010...after 3yr 4mo on grippersRed/Bastard

Yeah, I do believe it is harder, but it's also a little more than an inch shorter! I don't think there will be any contest to the Huge Shiny Quote der Bär My YouTube
matthcarl Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 That's interesting. The 7mm SS I got from Joonas was much easier than a shiny...I bent it both DO and DU at 6" without a problem. You must have some crazy stuff Quote Name: Matt Carl Runner, Graphomaniac, Steel Bending Fiend
ewokhugo Posted April 5, 2009 Author Posted April 5, 2009 yes Matt its crazy for 7 mm:-) VERY hard past 90 deg but like Darin said its 6" long. Quote Hugo Sá e Castro 33, 6"0", 200 lbs.
