Grip Meeting At Heavy Grip's Place

Yesterday I met with Erik Franz (Heavy Weight), Martin Kotte, Thomas Becker and David Lieser (dave.vader) and we practiced for the Hgc V ( Hahnenbacher Grip Challenge 5 - http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtopic=30570).

I arrived at 2 p.m. and after some talking we directly started training for the competition (The guys all brought their equipment)

We practiced in the following order: MMS Grippers, 2HP, RT (thumbless), 2" V-Bar and DU-Bending.

David, who has trained grip for just about 1 1/2 months will have a great career in the grip sport. He was able to close a #2.5 from MMS. He also did very good on all other exercises. He really amazed me.

Martin and Tom gave me a lot of good tips on bending and how to set a gripper so I was able to hit some PR's as well. Erik, David, Martin and Tom: Those guys are just amazing. They were so encouraging, it was an amazing meeting.

Erik lifted an loadable inch replica (I don't know how much weight it was but it was amazing) and one of the guys hit 55kg (without weight of the setup) on the 8lbs Bomb. Guys, do you remember who it was?

We ate something and talked about grip feats at the end before I left.

Grippers

LH: #1 MMS

RH: #2 MMS (PR)

2HP: 57kg (I did 2HP for the first time)

RT thumbless (It was the first time I've ever touched a Rolling Thunder)

LH: 50 kg

RH: 61,5kg

2" V-Bar (also my first time, I've only pulled 55kg on the 1" V-Bar some weeks ago)

LH/RH: 67,6kg

DU-Bending:

6mm x 150mm (0.236"x6") (PR)
