Ever Have A Failure That Made You Happy?

Here's the video: 6"x8mm rebar in IM pads

It froze hard around 90 degrees, but I was so happy to be able to kink the bar in IM pads, I almost didn't care. These pieces of rebar I got from tja are (at a guess) a little easier than a red nail at 7", so kinking a piece at 6" gives me confidence that I am good for the Red cert. At 6", though, the crush ramps up like crazy.

For the record, I did crush it below 2" after I turned off the camera, but I had to use suede wraps on both legs. :blush

I failed to marry the first girl I got engaged to - that turned out to be a HUGE success story! :D
