Adam Moyers Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 My bending went pretty well last night. I did shoulder dislocates before and after bending and I have no pain in my shoulders today. I bent three 6"x1/4" grade 8's with the heads cut off in about 12 minutes, I was hoping to get them in under 10 minutes. I pulled my wraps off to check them way too many times. I bent a 6" piece of 5/16" hrs after the grade 8's. This is the first piece of 5/16" I've got to 2 inches or less. I tried out my Jason Payne crush pads for the first time on this bend. They are a top quality product but will take some time to get used to. After I turned the camera off I put them back on and crushed it to less than 1". I finished up with two yellow nails in IM wraps. luuc Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Nice bends man, second video doesn't work though. By the way, are you sure it's HRS and not CRS? If it's HRS it's probably pretty hard. Good luck on the bastard!! Quote The art of barehanded bending
Adam Moyers Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 Thanks luuc! The second video works for me. Yes its HRS, I've tried a red nail and a bastard before but couldn't get either so I bought some 5/16" hrs. I know HRS is easier than CRS. But how much easier? Adam Moyers Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 Thanks Hugo! I said I will try a Bastard next time, but I think I will try a red since they are a little easier. Does anyone know what a 6" piece of 5/16" HRS would calibrate? ewokhugo Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Adam: this list was made by a bender called" rniel" , i think its accurate: steel vary ..but ... Adam Moyers Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 Thanks for the list Hugo. Now that I think about it, the 6" HRS took longer than the red. But I tried it towards the end of my workout.
