stew2 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 He did this at the grip gaunlet at the Arnold with Wade judging he got it easy it's a little hard to see in the video because of all the people that were there and he did it so fast, but it was definetly shut easy you can make it out at the end Quote fast cars rule, chicks dig scars, and glory lasts forever Farm Strong use your hands for more than milking My youtube page

nickr104 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I was watching him warm up with his 3 befor hand and I new he would have no problem. I felt almost like my 156 3 and he CC set it without even trying. Nice close Brad!! Quote Nick RosendaulI am a Upser"I slept with John Eaton and lived to tell about it!"

speedracer Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) Hey thanks for putting that up Stew. You did a great job on the video since I was not so video friendly. (too many people I agree) Still im very happy I was able to complete the close and get on the list of COC #3 closers. Im going to begin actual strict training to attempt the 3.5 maybe next year at the Arnold. I had Wade's #3.5 gripper 1/4" from closing with a CC set. Though he said it was a somewhat easy 3.5. Im not sure what kind of gains are possible for me since I dont train grippers hardly ever (but im going to start now), but I do alot of strongman training grip work. While im posting I wanted to thank not only Stew for the video & post, but Chris (climber) Rice for all his help with grip knowledge, he gave me some helpful ideas for the week out training before the close. Also Josh Dale and Jedd Johnson both gave me some helpful hints leading up to the close. Thanks Guys!!! Oh and thanks for all the positive comments guys, I really appreciate it!!!
