Six Barrel Shotgun Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I have a few stones that I use sometimes as blockweights right now.. im wondering: Can I use the bomb as my block weight training? Or is it too different from regular block weight training? Quote
vikingsrule92 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 It can be used to complement blockweights but not to supplement them as they are very different lifts and require fairly different strengths. Quote
MalachiMcMullen Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 (edited) It can be used to complement blockweights but not to replace them as they are very different lifts and require fairly different strengths. Fixed. I find that stuff like globs and bombs train the last 2 fingers pretty well, but if your goal is to lift bigger blockweights like the Blob, actual blockweight training is what's needed. Benedikt Farsmann Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I don't have any block weights but jugding by the different shapes, I would say a bomb can't be a real alternative. It's just too different. If you don't have a bomb, get one! You can do so much with it! Quote *Gripper ratings Hands: L/R breadth: 9/9cm length: 18.5/18.5cm circumference: 22/22,5cm Hand size chart
