Matt Brouse Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 (edited) If you could be so kind to post the links you know of that show well the technique involved in DU bending I would appreciate it. Maybe not necessarily instructional videos, per se, but good bending videos of the double under variety. Obliged. easyWeight Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Wait a minute, didn't you imply not that long ago you'll never get into bending? You know you'd destroy some big steel if you started. Quote der Bär My YouTube
The Natural Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Wait a minute, didn't you imply not that long ago you'll never get into bending? You know you'd destroy some big steel if you started. Matt and I are going to do some bends and make what used to be outstanding merely good. -Rex Quote "It would be simpler if they had two classes: open and handicapped. If you’re under 200 pounds, under 18 years old, over 50 years old, female, retarded, or missing any limbs, you have the option to compete in the handicapped class. Otherwise you lift in the open class."

Not seriously, I don't think. But for competitions I will need a token bend. Rex's natural talents seem to extend to bending... unlike mine. Thank you Foxman and Yersinia for the links. bencrush Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 It will be interesting to see what your shriveled-up buggy whip arms can bend Matt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9K1wBedmgM This is an Insane in about 10 seconds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs0ZyqdzipU I like this one even because it was back when I was just coming into my own on the DU bends. It's also done "traditional-style" with the hands together. I went past that level but I don't want to look anymore for videos. Also it's with relatively thin pads. That lets you see the simple technique used. Quote
Matt Brouse Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 That last one, Ben, is set to private. No biggie. Thanks Ben. Quote 2013 Grip Goals DO Axle 450 - Current 413 Gripper 190 - Current 173 2HP 220 - Current 210 Total 860 - Current 796 Little Big Horn 240 - Current 215 IM Hub 70 - Current 55
