Grippster Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I have to readjust the gripper every 3-4 reps if it's a really hard one without adequate knurling, so I don't blame you for doing so with the Tug #7. What ever happened to your youtube videos btw? I rather enjoyed seeing your incredible feats of strength. Quote

Grippster Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 You're one of the only guys I've ever seen close the HG500. But anyways, low quality or not they were still good. I loved the one where you shut the HG400 22 times. Seasoned or not, still damn amazing! Quote
mobsterone Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 He's got a proper camera now but of you watch the MM7 dud video of mine you see me laughing like a girl cos the screens gone all fractal. It has a crack in it from bringing the 2" FBBC bar back from Twig's. Quote Steve Gardener, British 2006/2008/2009/2010 champ, 117.5kg 2HP, Euro 2008 & 2010 champ

Captain Sam Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 It was me who asked. Very strong on the tug 7! I can rep the 6 with ring and pinky now, but the 7 is to hard at the moment... HG500 Assisted Close Also, I think mobster can close it too. Obviously everybody's HG500 is seasoned somewhat from use but still a monster nevertheless. Quote

Obviously everybody's HG500 is seasoned somewhat from use but still a monster nevertheless. not like it's bad or anything, but that doesn't count as a close to me as it's two handed - seems a bit odd though, from his other videos i would expect that 500 is significantly easier than any 500's ive tried, as he does the same two handed attempt on a 3.5 an can only get it to 4mm >looking at the chest crush video it looks like the mount is very high + he talks of puting the handles back on with gorilla glue in comments the only time ive seen steve attempt my 500 he got it to 5mm but i was very impressed because he used a pretty swallow set Quote Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/savagegainzcoaching/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRzim_aKbMtut2hMsRU3J3A Training log - http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtopic=36960&st=0
Grippster Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 He has big hands so I thought the bigger handles might even be easier for him. For most people it's harder, but for some they like the bigger handles. Anyways, I guess if we rule out the unofficial close and Steve's attempt you are the only known man to close it. Quote
