PowerHouse Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 (edited) Got it done today. It has been a little over 2 years since I have progressed to another gripper level so I am pretty happy about this. Not sure what this is rated at, but it fits perfectly in between my SM and my #3's. The #3 isn't this beastly gripper it used to be when I first got it. Looking forward to finally having those handles touching. Here is the crappy video, shows up fine on the camera but it is very dark on the computer..... i'll get a better video this weekend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUwvIBTgjmc Edited February 27, 2009 by PowerHouse Quote Goals: To be stronger then I was last week. PowerHouse Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 Got a better video up. I have closed this gripper 5 or 6 times now the past 2 days. Getting easier and easier. Time to kill the #3 now. Quote Goals: To be stronger then I was last week. I don't mean to be condescending(which means to talk down to)..........

Grippster Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I like it when people pause and show the gripper halfway through the sweep before they close it. I think it demonstrates real strength and that the person can confidently shut the gripper. Quote
Teemu I Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Nice! This is the gripper I traded to you, right? I never got it calibrated, but I always thought it might be around 2.7 or something. #3 can't be that far now. Quote Teemu Ilvesniemi, Finland My Blog

PowerHouse Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 Thanks everyone, I trained pinch hard the last couple of weeks and I start getting PR's on grippers. Seems weird to me. Yea this is the gripper I got from you Teemu, the one with the crazy sharp knurling. congrats, must feel good to get another step nearer the 3, slow progress is better than no progress Ain't that the truth!! Teemu I Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I thought so. I wish all grippers had a knurling that sharp. None of my current BB's are like that, close but not quite. Another good example of the benefits of developing a better grip all around. Quote Teemu Ilvesniemi, Finland My Blog
Grippster Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 congrats, must feel good to get another step nearer the 3, slow progress is better than no progress No kidding man! As long as you can at least see some sort of progress it's encouraging enough to keep going Quote
