Wade Gillingham Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 (edited) Congrats Wade!!! That's a really impressive lift!!! Could you do a video of this feat? I'd like to see it happen? :rock Yeah I will try to get a video sometime. To be honest this was not planned. I don't really train this way anymore because I feel tosses or around the back are much better for endurance. My wrists give out before my grip on farmers - almost like the joint starts to separate - not comfortable. Same type of problem for me doing the 100+ lifts last month - my back and hamstrings gave out before my grip so again not the best way for me to train for endurance. I had planned to do a big blob + weight last night but could tell right away that it wasn't there based on how good I felt last week with 77 again and missed 80+. This week 70 for a few singles felt weak and I wanted to do something big before the Arnold so the farmers thing popped in my head. I paced off 60 feet and put an X on the floor with chalk and made a starting line. I went to the X and turned around 180 degrees to the start and just about made it before my wrists gave up. I measured out the distance and it was 58'4" to my X and I ended up 9'6" short of my start - so a total of 107'2" with one turn. Thanks everyone and hopefully see some of you guys at the Arnold next week. Wade Edited February 27, 2009 by Wade Gillingham Quote
