Bill Piche
http://www.fractionalplates.com I noted this: The offer for SOS grippers is for as long as the supply in each size lasts only and by ordering online only.
Adam Black
Woohoo!! Got my order in for a seasoned 280 & 290. Been kicking myself since they stopped selling them for not getting some when I could have. Thanks Wannagrip!!
Tou
Hope you'll get the torque you expected. I have a 309 that I can rep over 40 times and a 325 that I can close for only 5-7 secs, very close to my #3.
Rick Walker
And I have a 387 that is much easier then my #3!
amaury
THAT'S THE NEWS OF THE MONTH !!! :crazy :crazy :hehe I think i will not have to modify my only #3 Tom Black's way now ! Yippppee !! Hope they send them to France though ?!
Patrik_F
I dont really understand what it says on their page. Is there a gripper there available that I can use that should be in between a #2 and a #3 in strength?
amaury
We will deliver on the US Mainland and via FedEx Ground only. S**T ! BTW, why ?
Rick Browne
Patrick, Don`t confuse the model #s posted. Those are wire diameter sizes of the springs. What the closure IPs are? who knows? That is a question I would not ask Szimanski (myself) for a $
Patrik_F
Hehe, but werent you suppose to know what the closure IPs are? Isnt it printed on the gripper or something? Any advice on which grippers I should buy if I want a between #2 and #3 ?
Patrik_F
Also, whatsup with the price that it showed when you add it to the cart? I get very high prices :p What happend to the: 1 Gripper $7.95 2 Grippers $11.95 3 Grippers $13.95 4 Grippers $15.
Bearcat 74
If I were going to buy a gripper to fit between a 2 and a 3, I would buy another 2 or 3. BB grippers have went down considerably with there quality. Narrow handles, loose handles, etc. SOS grippers are made by the same company, so their not any different. The horse has been beaten to a bloody plup, IP means pretty much nothing. I say use what you've got and train your ass off, that will get you farther than looking for something to fill the gap. Just my $0.02.....
Rick Browne
Yes, I know he stamped the IP on the calibrated grippers he sold in the past. But I didn`t read if these are calibrated. Maybe I missed it in the info page. I can`t hazard a guess if they fall between a 2 & 3. sorry `bout dat ???
Rick Browne
I believe those are the shipping charges
Adam Black
They are not seasoned. For an additional $10.85 each I had mine seasoned. This will also include the IP being stamped on the handle. For what it's worth anyway.

KJM
Thanks Wannagrip for the heads up. I picked up a seasoned 280 & 290 as well.
Griparn
I have big problems reaching this site right now..."The page cannot be displayed"
Guest O1d Dude
In our haste to snag the last of the SOS grippers, we may be overloading the site.
Rick Browne
Adam, I just read the gripper specs. at the website and it stated the handles will be stamped with PDA and a serial code. The "serial code" could mean the IP you think? or the designated model #?. Let us know
Patrik_F
So, what strength can I expect from those SOS grippers? Approximately that is? I ordered them all :p Maybe ranging from #1 to #3?
Guest mg6680
From most of the previous threads regarding SOS grippers all they have left is pretty much below the #3. You can season your grippers in a vise if you need them broken in. If Heath is right regarding SOS/BB being made by the same company they are not the same quality as the COC's. Good luck and get em while they last.
Rick Browne
Patrick, ARRRRRGH!!! if only I could be standing in front of you with a rubber hose...I`d ########## (jus' kidding) It appears that you will have to wait to get your grippers and see what is stamped on the handle. If it is a # other than 260/280/290/295, then that # should be the calibrated IP. If you have the Ironmind 1-4, you can then deflect your COCs with the PDAs for comparison when they arrive. I do not what else to tell ya. A little excited aren`t we?
Patrik_F
Thanks. I ordered 4 grippers, one of each. I am not expecting miracles of them but I think its funny to have many different kinds of grippers. I didnt have the chance to order the SOS grippers when they were available in the past, I was not even grip training at the time. If I am lucky I might get a perfect in between gripper for my #3 training.
Patrik_F
Hehe, I am seriously thinking about changing my real name from Patrik to Patrick. I live and was born in Sweden and Patrik is the way it is spelled here. Patrick is the international name and it looks better I think :p
Rick Browne
Whoa.. my apologies for mis-spelling your name. need to pay closer attention on my part
