Guest rockblaster
I was surfing the web and went to the BigSteel website where a man named John Patrick Sullivan was juggling iron cannonballs. In one of his feats, he used a grip machine called the Super Gripper. It looks like a big dumbell except it has another handle that you squeeze up the weights with. Does anyone know where I can get a machine like this?
BarBender
You could probably get one made by PDA or Sorinex. On the photo gallery page is an image that failed to load. I suspect that this was the side view image of the gripper machine that made clear that the machine moved on a plane as opposed to moving vertically. Few people understand the physics of an inclined plane and few understand that deadlifting the weight is easier than crushing. In my opinion, this gripper machine is more of a showman prop than a training tool.
Guest rockblaster
That is true, Barbender, on my standard plate loader, I have to be very careful not to deadlift the weight so I press down with my wrist so only the crushing movement is allowed. Guest rockblaster
Gripster, That is the one I have right now. I like it but I just wanted to get you guys' opinion on the one I saw on the website since I have not seen one like it. It looks cool, but, as barbender pointed out, you can deadlift weight easier than you can crush it.
