A little confused about the diameter of the bar? - Eric and I had measured the diameter earlier before performing the bend and it read ~12.81mm - I think I zero'ed the calipers out when they must have been a little open - Oh well! next workout I'll try again.......................(with something shorter :devil )

Anyways, link attached below. :D

Another great bend - you're killing this stuff - WELL DONE!

I'll get it on the list.

Oh by the way, it's 2.5" for these short bends.

Paul, HRS is not at all consistent across one bar for the diameter. On a particular 5/8" bar I've gotten anywhere from 15.7-16.1 in the EXACT same spot just rotating the caliper. Unless you put it in the exact same spot you won't get the same measurement.

Amazing bend Paul, like Eric (is that who was filming you?) said, could you at least try to make it look hard? SO at least we won't be COMPELTELY embarrassed? :D

Thanks David! I was going to PM you - I guess you beat me to the punch. :D

Derek - yes it was Eric.

Wow! would it vary that much! from the same bar?

Yup, that was a 30" bar I think, same exact position on the bar, just rotating it around. Same thing happens with 1/2", I had a piece vary from 12.6-12.86 or something like that. HRS isn't precision quality so it's not exactly precisely lathed so it's exact, just enough that it's not an oval or elliptical shape, hahaha :laugh

Man I gotta work on that crush style. I used it when I first started out but with the horseshoes and short spikes crushing on the hip gets real hard. That bend is nuts and you make it look easy.

Have you tried to see how far you can kink it pushing down over the thigh rather than rowing to start?

Your leg crush is really incredible, the magnets seem to work!
well paul i'm glad to see the magnets and PCP and meth worked

HaHaHaHa :laugh

Tim - I used to do it that way, but I'm way stronger pulling on it - for me anyways. Do you do all your bends over the top of your leg?! :blink

Ya I do now. I started out rowing but I think it is more impressive and you need less padding over the thigh, you already got allot there in your muscle. I could do some decent stuff against my shin bone bare too before but it is also better for shows and stuff. Any decently strong guy is gonna put a little kink in even a tough braced bar rowing it. You just got more power that way naturally. If you got no pads and don't do it that way then noone else is going to row it, or move it. :D

I do still row sometimes when I'm scrolling but that is only for crazy stuff and it isn't a show bend at all. Like I said before I bend however I want with that stuff.

Paul, I've done both styles and I've always said that body type has a large role in it. Pulling under my knee doesn't give me good results with bars this length but that's just me. With your body type I can easily see where pulling under the knee would work great for you. You've obviously got a ton of pulling strength!

Later, and again, great job.

HaHaHaHa ................ Jeremiah - your easily strong enough to do all this stuff - I know - I met you at the comp. I think you still just have to find those power spots that work for your anatomical features. Thanks for the hype :D

I do feel good there Tim T - especially when I bend my knee further than 90, sit back alittle and look to the sky - I think looking up really helps alot - just like looking up when your doing squats. Did I just give away a bending secret?!?! :laugh
