My good friend Lloyd created this challenge ; its a funny way to do holds-)

:cool

Please Check : http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtop...=60#entry358405

U may want to improve your previous performance or use an heavier gripper:-)

thanks in advance.

I've only been training with grippers for about 2 and a half months or so. I know plenty of progress has been made. Out of the package, the trainer was hard to close and the #1 just killed me. Now, neither of them are difficult and my best close is with a 1.5. I know many of you kick the hell out of the 1.5, but it's a step in the right direction.

My point to all of this is that the coin challenge has made it a lot of fun to work with my grippers. It absolutely irritates me when my holds are not better than they were on the previous attempts. So far, here is what I have.

#1

RH - 7 seconds

LH - 2 seconds :(

T

RH - 32 seconds

LH - 24

Good Lord! It takes everything to keep the penny held in place. There is no such things as "just enough pressure" when it comes to the penny. Good luck to everyone in the challenge. I'm not a threat to most of you at the moment, but I'm working on it!!

no prob my friend:-)

in fact u would decrease your ranking in favour to an harder #2.5 if ALL #2.5'contenders s could calibrate their grippers.

Your #2.5 its like an average #2.5 for this challenge because very few people can calibrate grippers.

I got 23 seconds RH & 20seconds LH with my HG200(calibrated@100lb), but that was my 3rd attempt, so I'm gonna try again tomorrow...

Has anyone tried more than one coin like 3 dimes or w/e.......?

Alright, I tried it, and it's a little harder than a single penny.

I think it's good for reaction time as well. Because as the coin moves you can react to it and try to squeeze harder quickly so the coin(s) don't fall.

this is a very interesting way to help u to close your "goal gripper" , its like doing strapholds or holds but using one 1/1.5 mm coin:-)

wanna give it a try? ;)
