matthcarl
I tried an SCF Polo 1 today, and got it stuck just before 180 degrees. I'm still kind of new at this. First Horseshoe Video

MalachiMcMullen
It's good enough for an FBBC cert Those things are intimidating when you compare them to the UL's. Tough little buggers CONGRATS! It looks like you have the strength to start a DC1 the way you did that Polo

Yeah, it took me a while to get from the UL's to this one, with pain and suffering involved. I don't know about that DC1 Maybe I'll give one a try in a few days. Is that easier than a 0, do you think? How about a 00?

Is that easier than a 0, do you think? How about a 00? In my personal experience, all of the DC0's I have bent have been easier than their DC1 counterparts. Also keep in mind that I purchased almost all of my Diamond shoes at the same time though. I bent another DC0 and DC1 today and the DC1 still felt harder to me. I've never had a go at a DC00 though, so I can't say for that one. That was a strong start though! POW and you have it most of the way to 90 Just like I do
EricMilfeld
Matt, that's a solid bend. Congratulations! A little pumping action when it starts to seize up as your pushing downwards over the top of your thigh can work wonders.

timiacobucci
Nice bend man, very strong kink. You will get better at the 90 - 180 with practice, you already got the power for it. It helps allot to get the inside leg wedged as far down and inside against your stomach as you can to get the opposite leg sticking up more, so you can push more out and down rather than just trying to push straight down. I think this is what Eric was talking about with his PL1 too. It looked like you were starting to fall into it more towards the end but I think with practicing that some you will get allot better at it. Someone else already asked me to make a shoe video, I will try and show this part the best I can in a video or something soon, it is tricky to describe clearly. I agree with Zach, I've never done a polo but you must be able to or at least be very close to starting a dc1, when was the last time you tried one?
