EricMilfeld
Foxman kindly sent me a couple of #1 Diamond Broncos a while back that I've yet to finish. So, getting a Bronco of any size to 180 has been a goal of mine for a little while. Tonight after work I gave the #0 Diamond Bronco a go and to my immeasurable pleasure that 5/16" thick shoe yielded to my efforts, going a little past 180 degrees in maybe two or three minutes. Hey, that Zach kid can't hog all the glory!
MalachiMcMullen
That's AWESOME Eric! I hate bending those damned PL shoes because they hurt me everytime to start. They are NEVER an easy bend so serious CONGRATS are in order :rock :rock

EricMilfeld
Adam stressed for me the need to post one leg of the shoe in the crush phase (if that's what we'd call the last few degrees leading up to 180), holding it motionless as it's tucked between your thigh and tummy, and then applying all the downward pressure with the other hand. It's very helpful to hold it at an angle so the leg being torqued downward is held sort of up in the air, as opposed to flat across your thigh. This has helped me immensely. And thanks everyone! Ya you are allot stronger than me, I figured this positioning out quick as I couldn't move the dc1 any other way. This is the reason I still have fist shaped bruises on my lower stomach. Congrats Eric!!! That's a BIG horseshoe No it isn't, thats the problem, it is thick as hell but unlike a 2 or 3 it's the same damn length as a dc1 with no added leverage to move that girth. What did you think of them? Really hard or really easy? They're a little akward to start, that's for sure!

What did you think of them? Really hard or really easy? They're a little akward to start, that's for sure! I see you did the #0. Cool! Now I wish I had picked up some of those size as well, but at the time I was worried that the #1 Pony might have been too tricky. I think they were pretty easy. The start felt easy once I found the right hand positioning. The last 5 degrees of the crush made even my chicken thighs feel big as I struggled a bit to find room for my hands to move downward.
