bencrush
John, I bet a lot of guys would buy Golden Hexabastards from you if you could find a supplier that didn't charge a ton for them. Even then, your loyal customers would buy anyway. They're just another step up from the Golden Bastards. Not sure what they calibrate yet, but there are a lot of guys here capable of bending one. And a bunch capable of bending a Big, Huge, and a few that could do a Grand, and probably 2 that could do the Mag Golden Hexabastard. The place I'm going to order 2 (one to get calibrated, one as a "thank you" to Eric for calibrating the other one) pieces of 3/8"X7" Brass-Hex from is going to charge almost $4 per piece, not counting shipping. But I still argue that you would sell some of these to the more hardcore benders. They make a beautiful piece. Even the most jaded afficianado will ooh and aah a bit over the heavy mass of finished brass. Hope you consider it. I figure everyone will chime in and let you know if I'm on the right track, or if it'd be best not to buy some of this stock.

matthcarl
I don't want to make life harder for John...but if he carries them I will buy buy some. I saw your other post about how it would be good for someone with a weak kink and powerful crush. I am the complete opposite, but I think this kind of stock would help by making me work harder after my (cough) killer kink is over.

I saw your other post about how it would be good for someone with a weak kink and powerful crush. I am the complete opposite, but I think this kind of stock would help by making me work harder after my (cough) killer kink is over. I used to be just like you man. I had a big kink (kinked a 5" Edgin probably 6 months after my first Bastard) but had huge problems with my crushdown. I'd get pretty much everything to 90 degrees and it would freeze. It's good to work a wide range of different "feels" of stock though. I'm a big believer and more so after helping a friend move up the ranks quickly. He's bending everything from Stainless to Brass to Aluminum to 3/8" HRS. I think it's giving him a great boost to his overall range of strength. And now I'm the opposite. My kink and sweep are pretty much back burner status. Now my crushdown is very much improved. I've been doing almost daily crushdown training and it's possible that it's taken a good deal away from my other ranges. But I crushed down an Insane Golden from 2.75" to 2" last night. John Beatty
I'll check with my supplier & see, I've got nothing against carrying another stock if you guys are interested, heck what's one more, with shoes, bolts & all the different stock sizes I've got over 40 types now. Be glad to bring in another, I'd like to play with it, too.
vikingsrule92
I'd definitely be willing to buy a few pieces John, you know I'm always willing to give you lots of my money I was considering buying some anyway but this would be better because it'd be for a cert Also, another good idea would be 7/16" Brass since the 1/2" is so freakin massive only Gazza can bend it at the moment. I think the 7/16" would be more in the KOABish range and be a VERY good bend.
