Hey Ben tried your 5/16 stainless that stuff is pretty stiff wow but I got it bent in about 3 minute's. I was not stop watching it because I did not think I would move it I was skreeeed. I have to say the kink was the hardest for me but after that it was ok I crushed it better than I thought. Where does it rate guy's and this the first time I have bent twice in one day I am sure I will pay later I am not 25 anymore HAHAHAHA. :D

Hey Jason, great bend man!!! It was the Stainless-304 from Fastenal. It calibrates at 465, but is tougher than it rates at most would agree. It ramps up pretty nice on the crushdown too, doesn't it? Great bend man! I'd rate it as hard as the 480 Hex, especially when you cut it down.

Ben, would you say the 304 stainless is tougher than the 3/8 FBBC brass? I'm looking for something else to get me to the shiny and there is a fastenal nearby.

The 5/16"X7" Stainless-304 technically calibrates 15 pounds LOWER than the 3/8"X7" Brass. But it's slightly harder on the crushdown IMO at any length than the Brass. The guys I'm helping now agree on this. It should be a great step towards the Shiny for you.

Thanks. The crush is what I really need help with, so it sounds like it would be good.

Hey Ben what would a 6 1/2 or 6 inch rate I think I will try that next the 7 inch is almost harder for me to kink in any steel. It's that whole flexablity issue I am working on. :D
