naturalstrength
I tried two spikes today, a 12" and 10". Did a 12" last week, but the 10" was a first time and a PR Earlier attemped a 1/4" x 6" grade 5, but only kinked it . Anyway, here they are: 12" spike bend 10"spike bend grade 5 bolt http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?autocom...si&img=7013 Please feel free to comment on technique, etc as I am very new to all of this stuff. I rather learn good habits now than try to break them in the future(No pun intended) Sorry about the video quality-youtube is limiting file upload so thus quality Thanks! MalachiMcMullen
Good job on those Spikes!!! Kinking a 6" G5 DU is no small feat either btw I still haven't done a full DU of one Quote Zach Coulter Goals #1- The Planche
vikingsrule92
Great job on the Spikes!!! Form looked damn good to me. You definitely have your priorities in order, bending always goes before cutting the grass And I don't think you look too poor to afford FBBC Spikes Considering how your car and the houses around you look
matthcarl
Nice job on those braced bends (though I notice one was mislabeled as unbraced in the youtube description ) I'm not much of a braced bender, so I can't help you there, but it looks like a good start on the G5. I'm sure you could easily destroy it DO with your upper body strength. Quote Name: Matt Carl Runner, Graphomaniac, Steel Bending Fiend
crobb1320
Great work on those bends, the 10" looked like a good fight, but the 12 looked easy for you.Nice job :rock Quote Charles Robbins 5'6"-155 lbs. 7-1/4" hand age 39 --2010 goals: Get back on the Gripboard more often 25 chins in a row Finish 5" g5. 4.5" g5 bend Bastard bend Close #3 C.o.C. 250 vbar 200 thick vbar Hub lift 2 45's+10each. timiacobucci
Nice fight on the 10". Those are not easy, from what people are saying now the new shiny fbbc spikes are easier than that griprite you did. The dark keystone ones are nuts though if you can get em. Hypothermia eh? It didn't look real cold there, hehe I think you meant hyperventilating maybe or hypotension/ headrush-blackout feeling? Where are you in Florida? David_wigren
Good bends. And from what I've heard aswell, the griprites are harder than the shinier spikes from FBBC. But the grey or dark ones from FBBC are crazy. Great job. And you'll get that G5 soon!
naturalstrength
Thanks guys. I will try to take down the g5 next week. Quote -Carl Ansara http://www.youtube.com/user/naturalstrength1
foxyj75
Nice job on those spikes!! Those 10'' er's are tough!! Keep up the great work! Ever try pulling those spikes under your knee? Just a thought, as some guys are better on the thigh, and some under the knee. You might try posting that spike on top of your thigh, and pushing down with your torso/upper body to crush it down after the kink. With your upper body strength, it might work for you. Again, great job!! :rock Quote Phil. 4:13 Psychotic bending, shiny-headed Jesus freak......and proud of it!! My Videos

I guess I will try and find out. Thanks again Quote -Carl Ansara http://www.youtube.com/user/naturalstrength1

You actually bend across the top of the shinbone, not the kneecap itself. Quote Name: Matt Carl Runner, Graphomaniac, Steel Bending Fiend

YES, that is very important, you can hurt your knee by pulling against the tendon area just under your kneecap, be sure to pull against the front of the big bone below that, you ain't gonna hurt that.
