wscorpion Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 As the title says, had a nice PR today with the hub device Lifted 28kg (61.6lbs) of plates attached to the hub device with my left hand, got air under it with my right. Got a right PR as well with the 27kg (59.4lbs). Videotaped the 28kg lift, here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Rl2IdiMvGc I'm not sure what the device itself and the chain weigh, but can't imagine it to be that much... On to the next PR Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
lifesnotfair Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Congrats!! You should've edited the first minute of that video off though!!! Quote

Steve B. Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 What brand hub is that? It didn't look like the IM hub which is what i use. Quote
wscorpion Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Dan, well it's in the attic, but it's a concrete floor so it shouldn't be too much of a problem (I hope ) Steve, I don't know the brand, I've bought it from Theo Burggraaff (Dutch) a few months ago. It's ~ 3" in diameter, and ~ 1" in height. Since those are about the same dimensions as the IM one I don't think it will make that much of a difference... twig Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Cheers. Hatebreed were up and coming when I retired from DJing, but I lived long enough to introduce them to the UKHC. Glad to see they're still doing good stuff. Quote Be nice until it's time to not be nice-Patrick Swayze, Dalton, Raodhose. R.I.P.

Mark, the chain is too long - longer than a regular loading pin. Thats a huge weight bud! Congrats Edited January 13, 2008 by moser1972 Quote

Usually I use a shorter chain. but I was lazy this day. It doesn't really matter though, It's only 28kg, the back shouldn't have any problems lifting that With the 2HP there definitely is a different in dept. I have a setup which I only lift like 5" of the ground, and another one which is the same height (or even lower) then the euro setup. There's ~10kg (22lbs) difference in my PR's on that setup. Of course it can be the difference of material (different kinds of wood) but it's definitely also related to the dept Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
