Also the way he's posing with his biceps... don't know Apparently the apple crush was uploaded on the 5th of June 2006, the potato on the 14th of October 2006, that's over 4 months difference, so yes, I think it's possible when you train for it. Yersinia Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 not quite as good as Tommy crushing potatoes imo cant really compare them tbh :O Tommy would have mashed a bag by the time he does 1. eventho crushing 1 potato is extremely hard Quote Goals! : Dominate the #2.5 and BBSM Done!
joeyg Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 of course he's for real.... you can find him curling in the squat rack at any gym. Quote
Gripper42004 Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I think its fake. He wont allow me to comment on his videos or answer my email. All he does is put his biceps in the view.He also cuts the potato with a knife. From my experience a potato doesnt mash like his does unless it has been cooked some. GetAGrip87 Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 What a joke, the apple was rotten! I don't think I could close a trainer while flexing my arm and my wrist being bent like that, but he crushes an apple in this way. Don't think so. Quote Scott Harris Jr. 5'6" 150lbs. MalachiMcMullen Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I believe he crushed a potatoe but I agree with Tommy about it being cooked alittle, I've seen what Tommy's potatoes look like afterwards and they don't turn to mush like this guy's did. Quote Zach Coulter Goals #1- The Planche

Autolupus Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 (edited) Tried commenting: "What you ought to do is keep your flexed biceps in shot instead of the parboiled spud you're supposed to be crushing! " and it just says "you have been blocked from commenting on this user's videos" I thought crushing a potato was an explosive sort of thing, you'll either get it or you won't and will take seconds NOT minutes! dimmers Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Tommy only seemed to take seconds to crush those potatoes on that TV show. They just seemed to split in two when he crushed them, they didn't mash into a pulp. Quote

twig Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I've just watched the other vid, the one with the fresh granny smith. Apparently I've been getting it wrong all this time, apparently the ones that are black on the inside are the fresh ones! Tell me, do fresh apples taste nicer than the ones that have rotted to a whitish/green colour all the way through? Quote Be nice until it's time to not be nice-Patrick Swayze, Dalton, Raodhose.
