lone Wolf Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 The stainless I've been bending is 304 1/4" round I just bought some more the other day it was a little over 18.00 with taxfor a 12' pc. . I got it down to 6.25" I was thinking about getting some 1/4" hex stainless and this I can get in either 303 or 304 ? Tim71 Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 In my very limited experience, the 303 is much harder. Hope this helps! Tim Quote
acorn Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I have found the 304 to typically be lighter and vary a lot. I've had 5/16 x 7 304 be 120# lighter than the same 303 and 5/16x7 304 hex come out at 220# lighter than the same 303. Quote ** Retired **
