I closed my #3.5 a few months ago and the video I took then was crappy at best. I promised then that I'd take a better video some time, so here it is.

Thanks, but that is too kind. I don't think I'm anywhere near the top or anything like that, I have too much grippers that I haven't closed yet. :blush

Whats so impressive with this close is that you hold the gripper at parallel for time before smashing it shut! Great strength, great close!

Well thanks, but that longer than usual hold just sort of happened accidentally..I watched that close on the computer display while doing it, noticed that I took too deep set at first, adjusted it a bit and then closed. :)

You're too modest Teemu, anyone who can close a #3.5 has to be in the best of the gripper guys.

Thanks, but in my mind the very best starts from around the BBSE level, I have a lot of work to do before I can close my BBSE.

the 3.5 is a lofty height for most, so i would say it is top class

Yeah but how many people have actually closed a 3.5? Less than 20 I bet, probably even less then that. SO I still have to say that's pretty world class.

It's just that the day I start thinking "I'm world class" would be the day I stop making progress. You got to stay hungry to make progress happen. Sure it feels good to reach any kind of milestone, but the sooner you forget about it and start aiming higher instead, the better. :)

Very nice vid! you could clearly see the 3.5 stamp and you kept the gripper in view all the time.

I agree with Pete that what's most impressive is you paused at parallel before smashing it shut :rock

great close!!!

Good video. I simply wouldn't know about "world class", and besides it's a designation that gets thrown around too much for its own good. I'll just say that I don't think of it anything less than no-hype elite.

Great close.
