climber511 Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I was just on the FBBC site and saw where Rick Kramer added 11 certs in one day - congrats on a job well done buddy! climber511 Posted August 1, 2007 Author Posted August 1, 2007 Thanks Chris.I see you finally did a highland games.Did you have fun?How did you do and will you do another? First off - I finished fourth out of 4 Masters but.... I did not fall down in front of everyone like a few times in practice. It was my first meet so every single event was a PR . Actually, I was pleased over all with how I did except for the caber - I had hoped to pick it and never really did, I got one hand under it on the last try and got a 30 degree toss. The caber is the one thing I never got a chance to even try in practice - hopefully I can cut one and get some idea of how to at least pick it and try to turn it next time. I'm hoping to make it to Michigan the 15th of Sept to try it again but I'm still looking for another one close enough to drive to before then also. You were right - they are highly addictive and a lot of fun!!! Plus - I looked pretty nice in my kilt Quote When people used to ask him how it was he became so incredibly strong, it was always the same, "strengthen your mind, the rest will follow".
