gazza Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Today i did a braced bending demo at work. Started off with a 32 1/2inch x 1/2inch piece of crs behind the kneck, then another 32 1/2inch x 1/2inch crs piece in the mouth, then a 12 1/2inch x 3/8inch crs square, then a 28inch x 1/2inch crs square, then a firemans axe and lastly tried an 18inch adjustable pipe wrench. All went accept for the pipe wrench it will now be used for an iso tool Pics being uploaded to my gallery. Quote "There he goes. One of gods own prototypes. Tim71 Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Crazy stuff! I bet nobody at work will arm-wrestle you. Did you bend the pipe wrench by pressing it over your thigh? If so then you should try to do a partial bend like Stanless steel does. I think he did a sub-23 inch piece of 3/4 and put a small "banana" bend in it. I'd like to see you try that because up til now everybody thought he was the only one who could do something of that magnitude but you may get there and beyond in no time. Can't tell by looking at the pic how tough the pipe wrench is but I'm betting it's pretty severe. You're REALLY making me want to bend but the back of my hand is still skinned up from that 8 inch attempt. It's killing me looking at the pic and seeing the goodies I've got stocked up. Very creative too on the different things to bend. I love that! It's a shame those guys are getting a show alot of people would be good money to see. I still stand by my original theory and that's this... yeah you do some good training and yeah you've got a never-say-die mental attitude but I'm telling you, you're not normal. You've got some stainless DNA or some cold-rolled Chromosomes or something. We've all heard of these guys who are just crazy strong without ever having to work out and I think you're one of them who's took it to the next level by training. Be careful with that cold rolled in the teeth. If your hand ever slips and your teeth take that shock or if it tries to flip around on you the tooth fairy may be looking under your pillow. Will you be at the bending competition in the UK? Heck man you might be able to sweep every event. That is if you don't break out in a rash from touching hot rolled steel . Tim Quote
maximus1 Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Awesome work bro, there is simply "no limits"to what you can bend! Quote

Can't tell by looking at the pic how tough the pipe wrench is but I'm betting it's pretty severe.Tim i had that pipe wrench in so many positions it was a real gutfest at one time i even had it under my foot whilst i was sat on the floor trying to do a row whilst pushing with my leg this really cramped my lower back and sides up but i started it with a mixture of under the knee and against the thigh the more tired i got the more i got angry then i heard someone say look at his face and started laughing this really pissed me off and i remember thinking i will show you today we were talking about it and one of the lads said can you remember growling dont laugh then the wrench started to flex and bent i dont remember that but i do remember getting real angry cause it wouldnt bend and someone laughed. You're REALLY making me want to bend but the back of my hand is still skinned up from that 8 inch attempt. It's killing me looking at the pic and seeing the goodies I've got stocked up. Now you know how ive felt watching you and the others tear it up Very creative too on the different things to bend. I love that! It's a shame those guys are getting a show alot of people would be good money to see. I have a few things in mind to bend braced that others might not have seen before but i will need to get stronger and tougher as these last few months have shown me that i am week in certain positions which i aim to correct I still stand by my original theory and that's this... yeah you do some good training and yeah you've got a never-say-die mental attitude but I'm telling you, you're not normal. You've got some stainless DNA or some cold-rolled Chromosomes or something. We've all heard of these guys who are just crazy strong without ever having to work out and I think you're one of them who's took it to the next level by training. Its all in the isometrics i hit these everyday at home and whilst at work i have a set routine i do whilst i do my job this has really helped with the braced stuff and i am just in the process of desighing a structure that will allow me to hit isos from every angle possible to help me overcome my braced bending weeknesses. I have always been strong for my size especially when training i have always been able to make my body and mind take alot of punishment and come back from it you need that when you train alone especially when you burn people out you then have to learn to train on your own cause others make excuses and excuses dont cut it. Be careful with that cold rolled in the teeth. If your hand ever slips and your teeth take that shock or if it tries to flip around on you the tooth fairy may be looking under your pillow. I have already lost a tooth on each side but they probably needed to come out anyway as they were obviously not upto the job Will you be at the bending competition in the UK? Heck man you might be able to sweep every event. That is if you don't break out in a rash from touching hot rolled steel . ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????. Forgot to mention today during my dinner break at work i had another go at the pipe wrench after i bent a pair of stilson grips i was nice and warmed up so i thought lets have another go at the pipe wrench as one of the workers asked me to bring it back in to show some of the others and photograph it so i had another go at it well no ones laughing anymore as i was like an animal today bent it somemore but hurt myself but it was worth it just have to rest and get stronger now. Tim71 Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 I guess I've always been deceptively strong but nothing like you. You know maybe I should bring my iso bars to work. Worse they can do is laugh. My co-workers aren't nearly as interested as yours. I think male-ego thing kinda gets to working. I think when you mix a person with exceptional physical genetics who also dedicates an extreme ammount of effort into training you get the result that you are now living. AMAZING stuff! Again grade A, super-duper, world-class job. Tim Quote
gazza Posted July 25, 2007 Author Posted July 25, 2007 Food for thought. When you are continuesly pulling against a 250kilos bin hoist numerous times throughout the day its gotta do something. When the bin hoist pulls the bin upto empty it i try and hold onto the bin as long as possible till its ripped outa my hand/s this is part of my daily iso routine but dont tell the health and safety at work man I continuesly try to find ways in my everyday life to get in a bit of training that will help my bending and also allow me to spend more time with my familly if i dont do as much at work i then have to do more after work at home which means less familly time.
