Guest Bonzi Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Nice work I dont know the Baraban Grippers well enought to know the difficulty on that but nice work keep up the progress!!! Brendan There was a thread ranking grippers a couple of years ago at http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtopic=11754. greenBuddah Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 My #3.5 is quite a bit harder than my RB300. I think RB300s are more around 3.3 whereas #3.5 are around 3.6 Quote
thearm95 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 As far as the RB180 goes, I've been using mine quite a bit in TNS work lately - mine is pretty much right between #2 and #2.5, it may be slightly closer to the #2 though. My 300N - a fair bit tougher than my '06 #3 Quote Duncan.
Martin_Arildsson Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 My #3.5 is quite a bit harder than my RB300. I think RB300s are more around 3.3 whereas #3.5 are around 3.6 All RB300 that I have is more like 3.8 Quote Dat dere YouTube
CoC#3 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 My RB300 is a little bit easier than my #3.5 but i would rate it at about 3.5 i.e. half way between my #3s and my #4. My actual #3.5 i'd rate at 3.6. My #3.5 is quite a bit harder than my RB300. I think RB300s are more around 3.3 whereas #3.5 are around 3.6 All RB300 that I have is more like 3.8 Can you shut it? greenBuddah Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) Yeh, I ordered a new RB300 with steel handles. Also the Spread on mine is only 2.75" which is quite good cause it's a hard gripper anyways. But not like 3.8 Edited August 15, 2007 by greenBuddah Quote

egg_uk Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 my rb160 and rb180 are both harder than my 2 Quote Goals Get Stronger Lift what I haven't lifted Close what I haven't closed
greenBuddah Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I think the ones i got from TomY are steel handled? Not sure though. My RB330 is 3.8 level. Steel handled RBs should weigh 2 - 3 times as much as standard ones (or i.e. CoCs). My RB330 is harder than my #3.5 so i guess it's also around 3.8 - 3.9. Quote
vikingsrule92 Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Well grippers vary a fair bit so who knows where your gripper ranks and if it's easy or hard. Why is this a gripper rankings discussion though? I think this was about tja's PR, congrats on that by the way man. Quote
tja Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 Thanks vikingsrule! I don't mind extra discussion in the thread though. Quote
spahn ranch Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Very nice repping, tja. I had a chance to try the RB 160 and 180 cold the other day. Possibly, but no guarantee I could have closed that 180 even with a good warm-up. The 160 was tougher than my #2. greenBuddah Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 ry for going off topic. my rb160 (3.15" spread) is easier than my #2 (2.85" spread), but a wider so for tns they're almost equal. Quote

Thanks vikingsrule! I don't mind extra discussion in the thread though. tja sorry for posting in this thread and not congratulating you, welldone with your PR. Quote real name: Sam Solomi
