Bending Challenges

Hi all,

I've been playing around with different ways of bending like Gazza already did sometimes.

What I did today was lying flat on my back and bending bars DO.

I'd like to try some other ways of awkward bends as well, but I can't seem to come up with much more then this:

- Bending DO while lying flat on your back on the ground.

- Bending DO while hanging upside down in a powerrack

- Bending a nail behind your back

- Bending a nail while handcuffed

- Bending a nail with a lot of weight hanging on your neck

- Bending a nail DO while lying flat on your back and have a lot of plates resting on your chest.

Anyone else has some other weird ideas to try? :tongue

Hmmmmm, let me see,

- Bending DO while standing on a post (have to keep your balance, could be tricky! :whacked )

- Bending DO under water (although Gazza has already done this and could be the man to speak about it)

- Bending whilst running :blink

- Bending blind folded

- Bending in extreme conditions, heat/cold

errrrr, can't think of much else.

- Bending under water would be nice, but difficult to get on video with my current camera :tongue

- Bending blindfolded won't be more difficult then normal IMO, perhaps it's even easier to focus ;)

- Bending in extreme heat / cold is cool, just like on top of a mountain (less oxygen) , but very difficult to realize and display on a video.

- standing on a post would be something nice, I might give it a try soon ;)

Thanks for the thoughts dimmers :rock

When i started bending people wrapped in towels man. leather was not even thought of.

I had to wear gloves because the skin on my hand was so inflamed from over use that they felt like they were on fire.

Sure enough, times have changed.

bending one hand, the other end in your teeth, tied to a tree, suspended 40' in the air, with a bird perched on yor nose peckin at your forehead. also, you have to complete the bend without scaring the bird away. and you have to do it in under 2 minutes and manage to untie yourself so you can save your girlfriend before the zombies get her. then you have to defeat the mad scientist and stop the bomb. and the only way to stop the bomb is by bending a shiny bastard. now, normally you cant bend a shiny bastard, but if its to save the world, then maybe.... just maybe.....

...holy crap guys i just thaught up the best idea for a movie!!!

I want to be built like a brick shithouse. Like, seriously, I want people to walk up to me, newspaper in hand, and ask the bloke standing next to me, "Where's the door?"

I haven't tried it myself, but bending over your head. That should definetly hit some different muscles and angles though. Not as fancy as some others but I bet it is difficult.

i have bent some 1/4" stock completely behind my head

and kinked a 60D nail behind my back

all good fun

I agree, the heat can be very annoying when bending.

I like the thought of bending behind or above my head. I'll give it a try soon ;)

Although probably only for the ladies, Elizabeth does a steel stocking with a long bar. The finished product gets welded to a plate and is a great piece of art in our living room.

I've been playing with that idea as well, just as bent wrenches look nice for pencil holders :tongue.

Best thing would be to use stainless stuff since it would last longer in a moistly environment...
