Bent One Of The New Shinier Looking Bastards Tonight

I got my shipment from John in today and of course felt like a kid at Christmas time. Anyway, I noticed the bastard bars are the newer shiny ones that John mentioned a while back. I think he said his last purchase had some of the darker ones and some of the shinier ones both. Well, I had some of the shiny "easier" ones that cal'd at 385 and I had one of the newer ones from the 450 lbs batch and I'll say I think these new shiny ones (not stainless) are probably in the middle. Not as easy as those shinier ones from Feb. but not just killers either. More towards the higher end though, I'm guessing 430 to 440 lbs would be my guess.

Now I will say that I'm really rusty on the DO bending and all the braced bending could have affected me either way. Maybe I've jumped a little and these are actually harder than I think and maybe they're 385 lbs ones again and I've just wore myself out. Could be but I don't think so. I bent a 70d a couple days ago that cal'd at 415 lbs and I'd say it was similiar to these new bastards. I also bent a 6.5 inch stainless 1/4 inch square and I'd say the new bastards felt harder than that to me if that says anything.

Another fine shipment from FBBC.

Let us know if you come across any of the really hard bastards that Liam was talking about, i remember he got his shipment through not long ago and he said that some of the bastards in the pack were freaks!!! even harder than the ones i sent him that were around 450lb from April this year :whacked

I love all the differences in stock, its what makes it so interesting everytime you bend!
