so I am interested in getting a crushing grip.

I got 117 on the rollin thunder righthanded and 110 lefthanded

soo I have taken to doing a set with 80 x6 and 93 2x6 or 1x12 for the right and have been working 80lbs 2x6 on the left

I have also made my own leveraging tool and it is 2in round and I ave been doin 7lbs 2-3x8

I am working 45lbs on a self supported wrist roller that again is bigger around than 2in, both away and towards me

I have been workin thick dumbbells, made so by usin duct tape, mostly curlin 45,50lbs....other ideas?

havent done the vbar in awhile and soon will start up again.

My left can do 5 reps on the one and like wise my right does 5 with the 1.5....aimin for the two.

read that forearm size doesnt equal strength always, to quote, I have met many men with small forearms that could break your wrist.

I am lookin for guidence and feedback, not just "good work" "good liftin" because I want to have dominant power and need honest help getting there.

My regular weight work is benching ,deadlifting, barbell clean and pressing ,curls,

Good luck with that. You're right, big forearms are not necessarily strong, a lot of it is due to tendon and ligament strength, which isn't outwardly obvious. Just try to make small improvements each time you train, adding a couple of pounds here, an extra rep there, and allow for adequate rest and recovery.

thanx man!

I went to do my rollig thunder and did my reps and then got an itch for heavier weights and 116 with the right and added5 and missed then traded that for a 2.5 and got it and bneat my previous pr by a pound, strangely enough my left beat that by a pound and I havent been hitting it with the 80% weights and on the right I did both 70 and 80% in all workouts, perhaps over training.I was told a set each was all to do,but it seems so little work.Tonight I will v bar it and pully handle.

Had a pain under the left shoulder blade and prescribed barbell cleans and presses for it, and I do feel good, have also done full conventional deads for a sore back!

I read that pinch training will help with the grippers and my IM pinch block had been dorment for a long time. I got home and loaded 2 10s and repped and held, then added 3lbs and held and another 3 and held.today I got after it again and got to where 20 lbs in plates was hard and so it was over for a while now.I want to close my 2 damn bad.

...and that's the attitude that will get you there! If nothing else, pinching will make your thumb pad bigger, which really helps on grippers. Watch Bob Lipinski's or Clay Edgin's MM cert videos. They have HUGE thumb pads.

used to have this co worker and his hands were strong, they were the size of catchers mits!

woke up and went at the grippers, warmed up with the trainer and did 6 on the 1 and gave 2 attempts at the 2 and got her 1/4 or less from closing, hand was done cuase I couldnt close the 1.5 afterwards. so...still got training on my mind.I wen and found a 6in piece of steel pipe and put it through 3 10s and di pinch holds and added 5lbs and held, traded the 5 for a 10 and couldnt get it. the 35 was held for 50 sec all the time on the r.hand and most of the time left hand with 1 40 sec, then put the pipe tween 2 25's and used both hands with 3 fingers and thumb each worked up to 80lbs, the 60 and 70 could hold a bit,the 80 was held shortly and controlled down.

rolling thunder both hands 80lbs 15 reps not touching floor on low half of reps

will perform timed holds in the pinch today and wrist leveraging starting with set using 7lbs and progressing up to 1 r max

been goin after the pinch power alot recently and have found transfer to the rolling thunder and hope also for this to help with grippers.

got a pipe that fits through standard plates and can get 35 up and 40 and 45, though I only grip the 3 10s because the other plates make it too wide.

have been goin all fingers and alternating 2 +thumb.

my wrists are my weakness and so must go after them.

I can lever 10lbs, cant reverse wrist curl 10 can wrist curl 15
